It
is
with
great
pleasure
that
I
write
this
letter
of
recommendation
for
Ms.
Hannah
Metcalf,
our
3rd
grade
teacher
at
the
American
School
of
Kosova
(A.S.K).
Ms.
Metcalf
joined
the
A.S.K.
community
as
a
first
year
teacher
and
took
on
a
challenging
3rd
grade
class.
This
particular
class
had
a
wide
range
of
learning
differentiation
as
well
as
behavioral
challenges.
Hannah
stepped
right
in
and
made
the
class
her
own
by
developing
a
learning
and
behavioral
management
program
that
addressed
student
needs.
Hannah
was
able
to
collaborate
and
guide
her
teaching
assistant
in
working
with
students
with
severe
learning
disabilities.
She
was
able
to
raise
the
entire
class
to
a
level
that
they
had
not
attained
before.
Her
management
of
the
classroom,
the
way
the
students
attentively
listen
and
respond,
and
her
whole
mannerism
speak
volumes
about
her
as
a
teacher.
Ms.
Metcalf
has
exhibited
strong
communication
skills
with
parents,
students,
and
staff.
She
keeps
them
well
informed
about
events
happening
in
her
class
and
in
the
elementary
school.
Hannah
has
been
a
big
asset
to
our
school,
willing
to
do
whatever
is
asked
of
her,
and
offering
suggestions
that
make
the
school
a
better
place.
She
displayed
all
of
the
qualities
that
make
a
successful
teacher
and
I
am
confident
she
will
prove
to
be
a
valuable
member
of
your
faculty.
