AIM:
To do a stress analysis of a plate with a hole using ANSYS Software.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
Specifications of the rectangular plate Length = 2m; Breadth = 1m; Thickness = 0.001m
with a hole of Diameter = 0.5m at center of the plate. The plate is fixed at the left side and
pressure of 100 N/m2 is applied at right side pointing outwards. The plate is made of Steel with,
E = 2.1×1011 N/m2, Poisson’s ratio = 0.3

AIM:
To do a stress analysis of a rectangular bracket using ANSYS Software.
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
Specifications of the rectangular bracket Length = 2m; Height = 1m; web = 1m; Flange =
1m; Thickness = 0.001m. The rectangular bracket is fixed at the left side and pressure of 100

To do a stress analysis of a Axi-symmetric object using ANSYS Software.

centre axis = 0.5m. The Axi-symmetric object is fixed at the top and bottom side and pressure of
