AIESEC is a global and independent organization aiming at fostering the society betterment on global
level and humankind potentials through a range of cross-cultural intership and voluntary programmes.
In AIESEC, each interns are expected to aware the global issues then come up with creative ideas and
take actions to deal with. Morever, AIESEC creates a global and dynamic environment for AIESECers to
discover their hiding potentials, understand who they are, harness their strengths and skills, be open to
interact with different people and embrace the diversity. Since then, each individual transformation
happens leading to the transformation of the world

Someone told me :

'Each of us is nothing, the city we live in is just a tiny dot on the globe, we are just tiny people living in
that city, but this globe is just a small dot in endless universe.

What are we trying for?'

Will all my efforts be futile just due to my mediocrities?

Will all my efforts be trivial compared to immense world?

Should we come back and accept the reality?

All of those questions strike me hard.

For a long time, I have let pragmatic ideas pull me out of what called ‘idealism’ , forced myself
concentrate on self-satisfaction,’model career’, kept myself less interested in self-irrelevant issues.

I assumed that my concerns on the world do not make the world better, just because I am very normal
person, a person is unauthorized, no power and prestige. Until one day, the story of 41 teachers
overcoming a range of difficulties to continue their teachings in Nghe An made me touched. Then the
images of charitable people in helping the homeless and orphans have vocational training programmes.

Lots of good things happen just by normal people, and those things still happens as long as there will be
our concerns.

Those normal people made me redefine my view that I am a part of community. And, the betterment of
society is derived not only from the great people but also from the normal ones through their great
contributions.

And I think about AIESEC.

AIESEC is a wonderful organization aiming to foster the world, a place for community-oriented people
meet and corporate to provide positive impacts to the world, a place full of youth, determination and
excellence.AIESEC offers me chances to implement my belief,to devote myself to the society, more
importantly, AIESEC makes me believe that I am humble part of community, but important.

Accidentally, old memories conjure up in my mind :

When I was a child, in every hot evening, sitting with my father in the outside yard, I dreamingly look up
to the sky, watch the distant stars soaking into the quiet and darkness. Sometime, in that endless night
sky, flickering light appeared following by engine noise of the airplane. That light brought me a bunch of
thoughts and dreams, dreams to reach out to the world, dreams to get out of poverty.

I ponder :

How many children looking up to sky with their dreams like me are there in this world?

Can they make their dreams come true?

YES.THEY CAN.

Let us make all dreams come true.
