The ONT Booklet may be used within a company as part ‘of an employee performance-based appraisal system. Companies that invest in training their installation personnel with the OJT program should experience fewer installation mistakes-resulting in lower installation costs, fewer injuries, and a a reduction in safety violations. Motivated workers and higher customer satisfaction result in higher profits per installation, Directions for Use The OUT Booklet lists specific tasks that must be performed by youater successflly passing the BICS TTS Cabling Installation Registration Program writen and hands-on performance examinations. The three levels requiringan OT booklet are Installer 2, Copper; Installer 2, Optical Fiber; and Technician. From the date ‘of notification of passing both examinations, you have three years io complete the OFT program. There is no substitute for work experience. All tasks for ‘your level must be successfully completed before you ‘can renew the certification.
