SUBJECT: RECONSIDERATION FOR THE USE OF

PROPOSED COMPANY NAME

Dear Hon. Sales:

Greetings! On behalf of our client, we would like to appeal and seek for the reconsideration from your office the use
of the name “__________________”, as our client's proposed company name, for the reasons below.

The verification of company name (see Annex “A”) does not show a name that is exactly the same as the requested
name above. For example, the names tagged as “similar” to the proposed name are the following:

_______________ would like to engage in the business of real estate buying, selling, rental or lease and operation of
self-owned or leased apartment buildings, non-residential and commercial spaces. It does not seek to engage in
transportation services or foundry industry.

These company names, however, are very generic and mainly describe the purpose of the business. In addition,
___________________, which is also generic. “Transport”, “Services” and “Foundry” are the key main words of
the other companies stated above while “Lat” is a Chinese word, which create their respective distinction. It is
apparent that the words used for the company names are dissimilar coupled with a stark contrast of business
purposes, as such our client’s proposed name should not be disallowed for the simple reason of the use of these key
words.

Further, we would like to clear that “_________________” (the name we are applying for) is not connected nor
related with the above said registered companies.

In light of the above, we would like to seek your office’s reconsideration to use the proposed
___________________ by our client. We believe that the proposed name that our client would like to use is not
confusingly similar to the already existing names/companies in the Philippines. We will appreciate your favorable
action on the matter. Thank you.
