Am sharing the following update from Katlinn
Sullivan on Keagan that was written on 2-28-
2018:
This week we were excited to have some
visitors! Grandma Marilyn and Aunt Beth flew to
see us and help out! Keagan also had physical
therapy and transplant clinic. Keagan will have
to have his tonsils and adenoids out so we are
just waiting on an appointment to get those
out. Again, thanks to all of those who have sent
cards, gift cards, meals, monetary gifts, toys for
Keagan, helped with McKenna, and sent words
of encouragement! We appreciated everything
that has been done for our family!
Please lift Keegan and his family up in prayer.

PERSONAL CARE KITS
Personal Care Kits are the LWR project for
February through April. Each kit should
include:
* One light-weight bath-size towel, dark
color recommended.
* Two or three bath-size bars of soap in
original packaging.
* One adult-size toothbrush in original
packaging.
* One sturdy comb with packaging
removed.
* One metal nail clippers with packaging
removed.
Instructions and the list of materials to
include in each kit can be found in the west
hallway – look for the washtub. Thank you

Easter lilies are now
available to purchase for
$13 each. Simply include
your check in your
offering envelope marked
“lily” and we’ll have one
ordered for you. They
will be available for you to take home after
Easter Sunday worship. Thank you in
advance for the lilies that will make our altar
look like Easter!
FEBRUARY COUNCIL HIGHLIGHTS
The Council met together with its new
members for the first time in February. New
members were introduced to the responsibilities
of the council and all members have chosen a
committee to work with during 2018.
The church council reviewed some
opportunities brought forward toward saving
money during the next year. The office copier
will be replaced with a new machine and a new
lease that will save over $10,000 over the next
five years. Offering envelopes will be mailed to
congregational member’s homes next year with
an expected savings in this plan also.
The Ministry Profile for St. John’s has been
updated and ready to be utilized in the process
of Call for a Senior Pastor following the changes
in our congregation at the end of last year. We
continue to pray for healing in our congregation
as we move forward in our ministry. We thank
Pastor Meyer for his leadership and
compassion during this transition.
