In this occasion I would like to speak about three possible solutions for teaching qualification.

First of all, I’m going to explain about a context regarding that problem, in teaching camp,
someone could be a teacher doesn’t matter the college degree in pedagogy or without
teaching experience. In fact, there is a research about public teaching sector in Colombia’s
country, compared with 40 different countries, Colombia is the only one at allow to enter
non-professional teachers.
The first solution for me is to increase the collages quality bachelor’s degree, because
there are many institutes which offer teaching careers with questionable quality q, without
be a good teachers and teaching with a lot of curriculum in out of context. For instance there
are careers that offer a degree in two years, or teaching courses in 3 months and this
time isn’t a enough training. It is necessary that there be more incentives for a constant
formation, in this way, the teaching would require a level of training which filters the
appropriate personnel for teaching. That idea would contribute to recognize the teaching
Professionalization.
Other solution related to training process would be to create a regulation in relation to
level education of non-teaching professionals, minimally demanding a master's degree in
education and eliminating the 3 months courses in pedagogy because this idea would
imply a commitment with a professional development in teaching, because there are
some people who say: “ ok I haven’t get a job yet so I’m going to work like a teacher
for some months while I get a job in my professional area” so if you have to invest time
and money in a master that isn’t cheap in this country probable you cannot take the
teaching as a financial parachute, if to enter the guild you should to study two years and
pay thirty million pesos on average. It is more likely that people do that, if they project a
long-term future in teaching.
Other solution is to retake greater control of didactic processes in the classroom, some cases
the non-professional teachers do their classes without a pedagogical basis, This
means that they elaborate the class like their teachers taught them. So in current is
necessary to understand the needs of children and teenagers and the context to which they
belong, obviously this control would be applied for professional teachers too, whit this
processes, with this the risk of educational process are carried out by unqualified people,
is reduced. However, these evaluations would have to be periodic, monitoring different
dimensions of the class, such as the pertinence of the knowledge taught, the teaching
strategies, the evaluation processes, and the interpersonal relationship between the teacher
and the students. Considering that the processes must be integral, because the teacher will be
forming people for them living in society. Obviously, the parameters of the evaluation should
be proposed by experts in education, due to they could be reduced to bureaucratic
requirements
finally, the last solution is perhaps the most difficult, it is necessary to start an educational
process and therefore political in Colombian society, in relation to the role of the teacher in
this, Colombians should understand that teaching is not a second-class profession. by the fact
that someone chooses teaching, does not mean that he does not deserve a good salary, or
excellent salary conditions. Many people assume that the teaching vocation equates mediocre
work conditions
for this reason I do not agree with the idea that teaching is a vocation, because I feel that this
diminishes the professional condition of the teachers here. Clearly it isn’t the answer to every
one of our prayers. but it is one of the bases
