Break-Even Guide

Total Revenue (TR) = Fixed Cost (FC) + Variable Cost (VC)

When TR is > then FC and VC means the business is earning profit.

When TR is < then FC + VC means the business is losing.

When TR is = then FC + VC, the business is break-even.

This table shows the daily projected cost and revenue. As shown, the business
projected Php 2,500 (fried Isaw) and Php 1,250 (drink) gross sales for 5 days which is
greater than the cost at Php 1,460 (fried Isaw) and Php 560(drink). Thus, the net profit
for 5 days operation is Php 1,040 (fried Isaw) and Php 690 (drink). In fried isaw, the
projected net profit is 41.6 % of the total cost while in iced tea drink; the projected net
profit is 55.2% of the total cost.
X. Assessment of Risk

Many first businesses spend all of their efforts at opening and are unable to maintain the
quality of their product that made their customers satisfied and leading to poor revenues.

IMAL SNACK BAR will be as prepared as it can possibly be with back-up plans, like back-
up equipment, alternative suppliers and always check in buying frozen products
especially our main ingredients the chicken intestine. Selling price planned well and
remained on its affordable price. IMAL SNACK BAR will establishment a loyal relationship
with our suppliers and always pays on time.

Although we have a good quality product, building a loyal customer base will still take
time. We the owner of the business realizes that having good communication skills will be
reflected in persuading customers to buy our products and that word-of-mouth advertising
will be paramount to our success.
