in the paragraph.
Supporting details: explain, support and
provide more details for the ideas in the
topic sentence.
Closing sentence: summarise the information
in your paragraph.

Start your answer with ‘Based on the novel
Moby Dick’
The story is about Captain Ahab who is
obsessed with killing Moby Dick, a large giant
whale.
 Captain Ahab: angry and vengeful,
obsessive. (the captain of the Pequod
who lost a leg during a confrontation
with Moby Dick)
 Starbuck: honest and outspoken, family-
oriented (the first mate of the Pequod)
 Queequeg: strong and skilled, friendly
(he is able to make friends easily)
Theme: Vengence and obsession/ The
importance of family
Moral Value: 1. We must learn to forgive and
forget
2. We must be rational and sensible at all
times.
