Projects
 Interleaved boost converter followed by Classical boost converter
Simulated the classical boost converter in orcad capture and then fabricated it in PCB and
made hardware model.
After classical boost converter, I simulated and made hardware model of interleaved boost
converter. Both the converter was made for a power rating of 96 watts.

 Hardware modelling and simulation of Three phase alternator

I started with designing the alternator in magnet software and then I did the hardware
modelling.
The alternator could produce a voltage of 1 volt.

 A hybrid robot
I made a robot which could detect obstruction, ditch and was sensitive to the intensity of
light falling on it. I made it using Arduino micro controller and various sensors like HC-SR05,
LDR and infrared sensor.

 Hardware modelling of a smart traffic signal controller using a micro controller.

 Password protected circuit breaker

Using a micro controller, I configured the relay operating the circuit breaker in such a way
that it asked for a set password for the circuit breaker to close the circuit. This project was
done to propose a way to increase the safety of line man.

 Simulation and analysis of speed control of BLDC motor

I simulated the BLDC motor in MATLAB using its Simulink feature, and then I analysed the
change in its speed by changing the PID value.
 Drawbot
I made a robot which could draw patterns according to the song played in the audio player.
The major components that were used are two servo motors and an audio jack.
.wav converter and stippled gen2 software were used to prepare the required audio signal
which was later fed to servo motors.
 Line follower bot
I made a line follower bot using Arduino micro controller and an infrared sensor.

Summer training
 Siemens Pvt. Ltd – Kolkata (30th May 2017 to 29th June 2017)
Undergone training on various types of coach converters employed in Indian railways.
 Chittaranjan Locomotive works – Chittaranjan (13th June 2016 to 9th July 2016)
Undergone training on the working of various electrical devices used in the loco.
 Heavy Vehicle Factory – Chennai (1st June 2015 to 6th June 2015)
undergone training on power distribution in heavy vehicle factory and seen the working of
CNC machines.

Scholastic Achievements
 My team Formula Electric (official electric team of VIT Chennai) became an overall
national champion in Formula Green Event organized by ISNEE during the year 2015-
2016.
 I was one of the top 428 student among 11000 other students who got selected for
the quarterfinals of the Texas Instrument Inc. India Innovation Challenge Design
Contest in 2016.
 Participated in electric make-a-thon conducted in VIT Chennai.
 Co-ordinated Quadcopter workshop during technoVIT’16 between 15th – 17th
September 2016.
Technical skills
 PCB Fabrication
 MATLAB, OrCAD capture, Arduino IDE, Lab View, Proteus, Express PCB.
Position of responsibilities
 Deputy head of power train in Formula electric car team of VIT Chennai during year 2016-
2017.
