SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT – RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT, QUALITY, REGULATORY, AND SAFETY
Directed 10-person group in product/process development. Revamped Safety & Regulatory Departments for OSHA/EPA Process Safety
Management and Global Harmonization (GHS) regulations. Prepared for ISO certification; contact to European subsidiary for REACH
compliance.
 Boiler Scale: Developed new formulations for suppression of scale in boilers and biofilm in cooling towers - $100K revenue.
 “Green” Commercial Fryer Cleaners: Developed grease cleaner using surfactants to remove baked-on grease. This added
$50K/year in additional revenues. Also developed/commercialized new formulation that used hydrogen peroxide to remove
grease ($100K in revenues).
 “Green” Floor Finish: Formulated floor finishes without zinc or calcium catalysts and obtained EcoLogo “green “certification:

 Merger / Integration with Ashland Corporation Water Chemistry Division: Executed rationalization of water product portfolio
into single product grouping and adapted Ashland products for RMC manufacturing. Added $1M to bottom revenue line.
 Accident Investigation: Spearheaded Accident/Incident Investigation Board after employee injury on deficient machinery.
Recommendations led to complete revamping of safety interlocks and operating procedures.
