The Radiologic Technology Program aims to produce graduates who
have:
1. Acquired essential knowledge, skills and competence to utilize the
various principles and applications of diagnostic and therapeutic imaging for the excellent practice of the profession;
2. Imbued the right values and proper attitude necessary to
consistently uphold moral principles and ethical conduct in all aspects of their lives founded on deep faith and love of God and fellowmen;
3. Committed to use their knowledge and skills in the spirit of genuine
service for the benefit and welfare of the people in the community;
4. Developed a sense of accountability and responsibility to pursue
personal and professional growth through continuing education, training and research;
5. Accepted the challenge of uplifting the profession and ensuring its
relevance through active leadership and involvement in professional organizations, the academe, and in clinical, administrative and industrial practice;
6. Dedicated to promote the preservation of the environment by
instituting environment-friendly practices at home and in the workplace;
7. Committed to support the management initiatives of the College for
maximum efficiency and effectiveness. DEPARTMENT PHILOSOPHY
The Philosophy of the Radiologic Technology Program is founded on
the principles of holistic, ethical, dynamic and competency-based education for the individual to attain his full potential as a human being and as a professional.
It is expressed in the careful and confident teaching and application of
knowledge, skills and the right attitude to deliver state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic imaging.
The Program adheres to the proper implementation of the Policies and
Standards for Radiologic Technology Education as prescribed by the Commission on Higher Education.
The Faculty, as forerunners of the program, commit themselves to the
highest standards of ethical practice in the full implementation of the program.
The Faculty believes that all individuals deserve to be treated fairly,
with dignity and respect, and nurtured in an environment that promotes personal and professional growth.
The Program believes that the essence of being a Radiologic
Technologist lies in one’s capacity and willingness to be of service to others as an integral and valued member of the health care team.
The Program further believes that the development of human potential
must be guided by the hand of the Almighty One for it to have meaning and purpose.
The Philosophy of the Radiologic Technology Department is deeply
integrated with DDC’s Philosophy of “Aestimamus Vitam”.
