● Students will be able to identify whether an organism is
directly or indirectly dependent on another organism.
● Students will be able to understand that each organism
has a specific role in its ecosystem.

● Each group will be assigned a region to research on the

internet.
● Students will compile pictures of organisms from their
respective biome into a word document.
● Students will cut and glue them onto a sheet of paper in
the form of a food web.
● Each group will present their food web to the class via
projector.
● One student from each group will present their biome and
all of the plants, animals, and other organisms.
● One student from each group will identify the producers
and why they are producers.
● One student from each group will identify the consumers
and why they are producers.
● One student from each group will identify the
decomposers and why they are decomposers.

Assessment:
● Students will present their food web via projector, I will
check their understanding of the topic based on their
presentation.
● Each group will be evaluated based on the depth of their
research, their understanding of ecosystems, and the
cohesiveness of their presentation.
