ABSTRACT

This research was conducted from April to May 2017. Research location at
Hatchery Laboratory and Aquaculture Technology, Aquaculture, Faculty of
Agriculture, University of Malikussaleh. The research design used in this study
was a complete randomized design (RAL) with 4 treatments and 3 replications..
The treatment arrangement was A treatment of Tubifex worm, B treatment of red
worm, C treatment of earthworm, D treatment of pellet (control). The results of
weight gain, length gain, feed conversion and best survival found in treatment (A).
Water quality parameters during the study can still be tolerated by catfish,
temperature (27-28), DO (3.3-6.1), pH (7,1-7,5), turbidity (1.9-4.6 ), ammonia
(0.001 to 0.01).
