The This project runs alongside the Music Performance Skills unit but continues to allow you to put
project techniques into practice as you work towards performances in the latter part of the term. Having
brief an effective rehearsal routine, and a habit of effectively warming up, will allow you to develop
your skills as a performer. Throughout this process you must document your progress.
Scenario You are part of a function band that is working towards a number of performances. You will need
to take part in a number of structured rehearsals, developing a varied repertoire. The nature of
the work demands that you adopt a professional attitude and have music reading skills.
