T ime management

There ’ s obv ious l y no t enough t ime in t he day . We a l l say tha t a t


some po in t , somet imes f requen t l y . Bu t ac tua l l y , depend ing on how
we choose to use i t , t he re i s enough t ime . I know per fec t l y we l l
t ha t i f I wa tch l ess TV , I wou ld do be t te r . So I t r y t o spend
l ess t ime on Facebook , YouTube , p lay ing v ideo games o r s leep ing
more than requ i r ed .
Did you know that you shou ld s tudy two hou rs fo r eve ry hou r you
was te . So i f you’ r e t ak ing 16 hours b reak , t ha t ’ s 32 hou rs o f
s tudy a week . But you ’ re i n t he schoo l 20 hou rs a week . Ea t i ng
f ood , t ak ing ba t h , o the r spo r t a c t i v i t i es fo r 3 hours a day - 21
hours a week . And you do need to s l eep a t l eas t s i x hou rs (42
per week ) o r you’ r e a mess . Tha t ’ s 115 hou rs a week accoun ted
f o r r i gh t t he re . And s tuden ts who s leep fo r 8 hours a day
per fo rm be t te r .

hours , bu t t he re a re 168 hou rs i n a week . I t ’ s up to you how you
spend the rema ini ng 53 .

one .
Get o rgan ised : Be ing o rgan ised wi l l save you a l o t o f t ime and
a l l ow you to a l l oca te and manage you r t ime be t ter .
Give rewards : You need to t rea t yourse l f when you do the r i gh t
t h ing . Take a few minu tes ’ wa lk or ea t you r f avour i t e candy
a f te r f i n i sh ing one l esson .
Get a good n igh t ’ s s l eep : A good n igh t ’ s s l eep i s impor tan t t o
make su re you r body and m ind i s res ted and f resh f o r t he nex t
day . I t can be hard to concen t rat e i f you d idn ’ t ge t 7 to 8
hours o f s l eep i n the n igh t be fore .
