Duration of treatment: 4 days and 4 nights
1st: To establish in each a country a relief society composed of volunteers, distinguished and
reputable persons who will take care the wounded in times of war
2nd: To promote an International Agreement in character protecting the wounded soldiers in the
battlefield and those who take care of them

To protect people who are not for no longer take part as hostiles:
1. Wounded/sick fighter
2. Prisoners of war
3. Civilians
4. Religious and medical personnel
Rules of IHL
1. Person hors de combat and those not taking part as hostiles shall be protected and treated
humanely
2. It is forbidden to kill the injured and those who have surrendered or who is hors de
combat
3. Wounded and sick shall be cared of and protected
4. The emblem of Red Cross, Red Crescent and Red Crystal shall be respected as protection
5. No one shall be subjected to torture, corporal punishment or cruel and degrading
treatment
6. Captured combatants or civilians must be protected against violence
7. Parties to a conflict shall distinguish between the civilian population and combatants.
Attacks shall be directed solely to military objectives
