OPERATION &

1. LOGIN to U2000 & LMG
Double Click on ‘U2000 Client’ – It pop ups the Login window.
Put Username & Password – Opens to ‘Work bench’ Window
Double Click on Main Topology > Double Click on Subnets – Opens the NEs Window.

NE Window
Login to NE by CLI mode from U2000
Right Click on NE > Tools > Telnet – Opens Operator Terminal

2. Hardware maintenance
Checking the status of FRAMES.

Command : #display frame info // Shows the status of all frames


#display frame info < frameid<U><0,97> > // Shows the status of individual frames
Checking the status of BOARDS or SLOTS or CARDS.

Command: # display board <frame id> //Displays the status of all the boards inserted in the frame.
#display board 0 // Displays the status of Boards of Frame 0
#display board 1 // Displays the status of Boards of Frame 1
NOTE : This command shows the status of Power Boards, Controller Boards & Subscriber Line Boards.

Main Topology > Select Required NE > Right click on NE > NE Explorer or Double Click on NE –
It opens the NE Panel & displays the status of Power Boards, Controller Boards & Subscriber Line
Boards.
NE PANEL Window

Displays the Different types of Board Status with Different Colors.


3. Alarm monitoring
1.Checking Active / current Alarms
Command1: (config)#display alarm active all <list or detail> // Displays all current alarms.

Right Click on NE > Browse Current Alarms

2.Checking History alarms


Command2: (config)#display alarm history all <list or detail> // Displays all history alarms.
Right Click on NE > Browse History Alarms

EMU (Environment Monitoring Unit)
The environment parameters such as temperature, humidity, and power voltage can be monitored to
ensure that the UA5000 works stably in a suitable environment.

Checking EMU status.


Command: # display emu 0

Checking EMU Monitoring Alarms.

Command: (Config)#interface emu <emu id>

4. PSTN Subscriber user creation & Checking its Status.

Commands :

1. Adding number on Subscriber Port

2.Authenticating the User with IMS Core

KTK_BLR_INR_LMG1_PVM(config-esl-user)#sippstnuser servicedata set 0/6/1 auth-use

rname +918024441929@ktk.ims.bsnl.in auth-password xxxxxxx

3.Providing supplementary services on user Port.

KTK_BLR_INR_LMG1_PVM(config-esl-user)#sippstnuser rightflag set 0/6/1 ct enable

4.Displaying the Configured subscriber user data, services & Port state.
(config-esl-user)# display sippstnuser 0/6/1

(config-esl-user)# display sippstnuser servicedata 0/6/1

(config-esl-user)# display sippstnuser rightflag 0/6/1


U2000:

NE Panel > Right Click on Subscriber Board > Port View or Double click on Subscriber Board – Opens the
list of configured numbers on respective Ports.

Click on ‘VOIP PSTN Port’ Button.


Right Click on Required Port/number > Account & service rights management -

Click on ‘Service Rightrs’ – opens the list of services configured.

Click on ‘Authority info’ – Opens Authority info.


Checking the status of Subscriber PORTS

Command2: #display port state <frame id/slot id> // Displays the status of all ports in the Slot.
#display port state <frame id/slot id/port id> // Displays the status of respective Port.

NOTE: If SvcState is StartSvc, the user is registered with IMS Core. Dial Tone on Subscriber Port.
If SvcState is RemoBlk, the user is not registered with IMS Core. No Dial Tone.
U2000:
Right Click on Required Port/number > Trace Port Indicator Status > Opens the Trace Port Indicator
Status Window.
Click on any Port – Check the information of Port in the ‘Basic Info’ Tab.

5. ISDN PRI User Creation & Checking its status.

For ISDN Configuration refer ‘LMG_PVMD_CONFIGURATION’ template (Slide 16 to 20)

Checking the Port Configuration.

(config)#esl user

(config-esl-user)#display sipprauser <frame id/slot id> //Displays all the configured ports
in the Slot.

(config-esl-user)#display sipprauser <frame id/slot id/Port id> //Displays the configured info
of the particular Port.

(config-esl-user)#display sipprauser extend-telno <frame id/slot id/Port id> //Displays the


extended tel numbers on the Port.
U2000:

NE Panel > Right Click on EDTB Card > Port View or Double click on EDTB Card.

Checking the ISDN Port Status


(config-esl-user)#display port state <frame id/Slot id> or <frame id/Slot id/Port id>

Normal Port Status-

Fault Port Status.


6. Circuit & Loopline test.
Commands:
