Less or More Energy

Hook: Energy Pollution can mean

two things: Saving less energy
and bad energy health.

Environmental Justice

What does it mean?

Environmental Justice means

equal rights for the majority of
income or outcome communities
alike.

Race/Income

The two races that are severely

impacted in low-income
communities included Latinos
and African Americans
themselves.

How does energy pollution

connect to Env. Justice?

Energy pollution connects to

environmental justice from
biomass to renewable energy that
in some cases, saves less energy
and improves environmental
health, for example the use of
wind turbines to reduce pollution.

What is biomass?

Biomass (energy) is a source of renewable energy from a living plant or an

animal substance to create fuel. It’s works with energy pollution by the use of
electricity resources of mostly wasted materials and then it combines to power plants
that are similar to fossil fuels.

Fernando Gonzalez
Citation:
According to “Energy and Air Pollution World Energy Outlook Special
Report“...from human activity overwhelmingly derive from energy production and
use, mainly the combustion of fossil fuels and biomass...the overall share of oil, coal
and natural gas in global energy consumption has been remarkably stable over the
last 25 years”.

Solutions/Recommendations

The solutions for energy

pollution included the demand
of wind turbines, and solar for
less energy and to improve air
quality in many communities.

Data DirtyElectricity.com states: “Stray voltage is also a cause of electrical pollution.

Stray voltage most often occurs on and off farms in localized areas. These localized
areas can have poor grounding and utility...detected by observing behavioral
changes in farm animals and some health problems for humans.”
