Offer: WIN a stay at Atlantis using your Mashreq MasterCard on Samsung Pay

Terms & Conditions of the Offer

1. This Offer is applicable only to Mashreq Card Members who registers their Card or
already registered their Card on Samsung Pay and successfully pay for transactions
during the Promotion Period.

a. Card Members registering their card for the first time on Samsung Pay within the
Promotion Period shall earn 3 (three) entries for the draw.
b. Post registering the Card on Samsung Pay, upon completing 3 successful
transactions using Samsung Pay within the Promotion Period shall earn 1 (one)
entry into the draw. Every additional transaction from thereon will earn 1 (one)
additional entry into the draw
c. Card Members who have already registered their Card on Samsung Pay within
the Promotion Period shall earn 1 (one) entry into the draw. Every additional
transaction from thereon will earn 1 (one) additional entry into the draw

2. Promotion period: 05th September 2017 to 23rd October 2017


3. The Offer is valid only after (i) the Card Member has loaded the details relating to
particular Card on to the Samsung Pay app, (ii) pay for transactions using Samsung Pay.
For the avoidance of doubt, the Offer is not applicable if the payment for a transaction is
made using any Mashreq cards or through a Card without using Samsung Pay.
4. Registering and payment using supplementary cards shall also qualify for the draw.
5. Mashreq will not be responsible if a Card Member is unable to complete a transaction
using Samsung Pay due to technical reasons.
6. Transactions which have been refunded, reversed or otherwise have not been
successfully completed shall not be considered as eligible Transactions for the purpose of
the Offer.
7. Staffs of Mashreq and MasterCard shall not qualify for this promotion.
8. At the end of the Promotion Period, all the successful entries which have been qualified
for the draw shall be collated and 100 (one hundred) luck winners shall be picked
randomly under the supervision of the government officials from the “Economic
Department”.
9. Winners shall be contacted by Mashreq staff through various mediums, not limited to
phone calls, SMS, Electronic mailers, Social Media etc. and will be requested to visit
Mashreq offices for collecting the staycation package.
10. Staycation package to be collected within 30 days from the date on which the winner
has been informed. Failing to collect the staycation package within 30 days shall result
in cancellation of the staycation package. Card Members shall not be refunded or
compensated in any other means.
11. One Card Member can win only 1 staycation package.
12. One staycation package includes the below:
a. 1 night in a deluxe room for up to 2 adults and 2 children’s (aged 11 years and
below) sharing the same room

b. Breakfast inclusion is valid up to 2 adults only
c. The room includes complimentary and unlimited access to Aquaventure
Waterpark and The Lost Chambers Aquarium the throughout stay for all guests
sharing the room
13. All other charges, such as additional meals, beverages, telephone calls, internet, faxes,
launched and personal purchases will be the responsibility of the winner and will need to
be settled with the resort prior to departure.
14. The prize is subject to availability and valid till December 19th 2017. Atlantis, The Palm
recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
15. Blackout dates: 01 – 08 Sept, 25 September – 13 October, 21 October – 03 November
2017
16. The prize cannot be extended, transferred or exchanged for cash and may not be taken
during any major holidays.
17. The Offer is not valid in conjunction with any other offers, special promotions, events or
activities.
18. Mashreq assumes no liability regarding the products and/or services offered by Atlantis,
The Palm.
19. Mashreq holds the right to discontinue the Offer at any time without any prior
notification to the Card Members.
20. Mashreq, at its absolute discretion, shall have the right to terminate the Card if in the
opinion of Mashreq, it is essential to protect the interests of Mashreq.
21. Card Members whose account(s) are closed or terminated or where the Card Member is
deemed delinquent, at any time, will not be eligible for the Offer.
22. Mashreq may, at its absolute discretion, exclude any Card from the Offer without giving
any notice and/or reason, including, without limitation, where the Card Members which
Mashreq deems in its absolute discretion, to be doubtful or delinquent or where the Card
is not managed in a satisfactory manner.
23. The excluded or disqualified Card Member shall not, under any circumstances, be
compensated by Mashreq.
24. Mashreq reserves the right to notify the eligible Card Member by phone or any other
means of communication which Mashreq, in its absolute discretion, deems fit.
25. Mashreq reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to amend and/or supplement
these terms and conditions at any time without any prior notification to the Card
Member. Any such amendments or supplements shall be provided on Mashreq's website:
www.mashreq.com/samsungpay.
26. In no event shall Mashreq, its affiliates or any of its or their officers, directors,
employees or agents be liable or responsible for any loss, damage or expense arising out
of or otherwise related to the Offer.
27. Mashreq does not offer or provide any warranties or accept any responsibility or liability
of any kind in respect of the Offer and hereby disclaims any and all express or implied
warranties with respect of the same.
28. Mashreq shall not be in breach of its obligations or otherwise be liable to conduct the
Offer as a result of any Force Majeure Event. A Force Majeure Event in these terms and
conditions, shall mean circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Mashreq
including, amongst other things, acts of God, industrial disputes, acts and regulations of
any governmental or authority in any jurisdiction. In such circumstances, Mashreq's

obligations, if any, to the Card Member shall automatically stand discharged without the
need to provide notice.
29. These terms and conditions are in addition to the Mashreq’s standard account opening
terms and conditions, Mashreq’s standard credit card terms and conditions and /or the
terms and conditions of any partner with whom Mashreq is partnering with respect to
the Offer. In the event of any inconsistency, these terms and conditions shall prevail
with respect to the Offer.
30. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws
of the United Arab Emirates.
31. Mashreq’s decision on all matters relating to the Offer in case of any dispute shall be
final and binding on all Card Members and no correspondences in relation therewith shall
be entertained.

Definitions

“Mashreq” means Mashreqbank psc and includes any of its branches, successors and
permitted assigns.

“Card” means a valid plastic payment card issued to a Card Member by the Bank in
association with MasterCard that allows the Card Member to make purchase Transactions
and includes a debit or a credit card.

“Card Member” means a customer of the Bank holding a valid MasterCard credit card and
includes a person holding a supplementary Card and have either previously registered for
Samsung Pay or register for Samsung Pay during the Promotion Period.

“Offer” has the meaning assigned to it in the preamble of these terms and conditions.

“Promotion Period” has the meaning set out in point 2 above.

“Samsung Pay” means (a cutting edge mobile wallet solution that allows the Card Member
to pay instantly and securely, at thousands of merchants in the UAE and abroad by loading
the details of Card onto the Card Member’s Samsung phone.

“Transactions” has the meaning set out in point 1 above.
