Dear Renato,

We would like to invite you to the preliminary round of the auditions for substitute principal
viola 75% with lower chair obligation and tutti viola 100%, which will take place on
Wednesday April 25th at Muziekgebouw Eindhoven at 10.00 a.m. Please sign in at your arrival
at the Orchestra Management department (second floor). This is possible from 9.00 a.m. The
address of Muziekgebouw is: Jan van Lieshoutstraat 5, 5611 GM in Eindhoven.

OBLIGATED WORKS

Stamitz or Hoffmeister – Viola Concerto, 1st and 2nd movement

Bartok, Hindemith or Walton – Viola Concerto, 1st movement
Brahms – 1st movement of one of the sonatas op. 120
Orchestra parts

The auditions will consist of three rounds. Before these three rounds, there will be a
preliminary audition. Your admittance to every next round will be subject to the discretion of
the audition committee. Orchestra parts can be part of all rounds.

There will be a pianist. It is not possible to practise with our pianist before the audition. You
also can bring your own pianist.

We emphasize that, in case you are a non EU-resident, an intended appointment of you as a
musician in our orchestra – if proven eligible for the job – will only come about if you are in
the possession of an unrestricted and valid residence and work permit in the Netherlands.
We need a copy of these documents before the audition will start.

Travelling expenses will be reimbursed within the Netherlands only. To collect travelling
expenses, please contact the Orchestra Management department.

We kindly request you to return one signed copy of this letter before the commencement of
the auditions, proving that you agree with the contents of this letter.

If you have any questions regarding the contents of this letter, please contact the Human
Resource Management department. If you cannot attend please inform us as soon as
possible. Absence without announcement can have consequences for further invitations.
