Project Proposal

Rationale

High School experiences are the most unforgettable moments in our life. We’ve

experiences new things which we never expected to happen. Building of camaraderie

among Grade 10 students, increase the level of maturity, deepening of social

engagement, strengthening linkage, and even the feeling of being inlove and belove are

just some of the most memorable and interesting part of being a high school student.

The Grade 10 Curriculum Officers and proponents believe that by conducting a

Completers’ Party will express their heartfelt gratitude towards their batchmates,

teachers, and faculty staff. This would be the first and last celebration for the completers

in the junior high school years. Though long awaited events inn Grade 10 was

postponed due to the eruption of Mt. Mayon. The initiators as well as the officers believe

that this event would alleviate the hardships suffered by the most of the students in the

evacuation centers.

Objectives

This activity aims to:

 1. Celebrate the hard work and effort given by the Completers, alleviate

stress, hardships and frustrations encountered and to have a quality

time with their batchmates together with their teachers through a

Completers’ Party.

Procedure

1. Conduct a meeting with the Grade 10 students

2. Create a plan for Completers’ Party
3. Submit the proposed activity plan
a. Information dissemination will be led by the Curriculum Officers
4. Collection of contribution
5. Purchasing of needed materials in the party
6. Preparation of Venue Hall and,
7. Restoration by the CAT and Curriculum Officers
8. Requesting of tables, chairs, and projector that will be used during the party in

the school.

Constraints:

Here are several factors that may affect or limit the proposed plan:
 1. Rumor about the decampment of evacuees on or before March 15 or

first week of April,

a. As an alternative option, the party would be on the school instead, if

the decampment would be possible on the following weeks before

the completion
2. Distance of the Temporary Learning Space affecting information

dissemination.

SUMMARY

This Completers’ Party is the perfect moment to celebrate the hard work and

efforts of the junior high school student completers of Masarawag National High School

(serve as the final acquaintance party for the batch of completers school year 2017-

2018), to alleviate the stress, hardships, and frustration of the completers (considering

the fact that they are on their respective evacuation centers), to have at least an enough

quality time with their batch mates together with their teachers, and to reminisce every

events and experiences they had during their junior high school study at Masarawag

National High School.

Also this party will lessen the stress and hardship of the completers considering

that most of them are evacuees due to volcanic eruption. If approve, the grade 10 will

finally conducting a party that is exclusively lent for the completers that serve as the

alternative program in the missed especial events such as the J.S. promenade. This

serve as the last batch acquaintance which is the perfect time to gratify and reminisce

all good moments in the junior high school (considering that most of the completers will

transfer to different schools).
