Student Learning Objective:

I will practice my Words their Way CVC words by using the activity I have chosen for the day.

Materials:
Words their Way bucket

Instruction Information (incl. modeling, etc.):

• Intro
o Today we will be working on Words their Way. We are working on our CVC
words. You are going to choose which activity you think will best help you
practice these words.

• After student chooses, have her sort each word to the correct picture.
o model the first 2 for her
 o have student say the word as she sorts
• After words are sorted – begin activity
o model the first word so student understands
how to complete activity
o student is to complete rest of activity on her
own.
o she may need verbal prompts in order to stay
on task
• Closure:
o ask student to read a couple words.
o inform student she will be doing same thing
tomorrow – with a different activity choice.
o allow student to have break after completion

Evaluation of Learning:
• after whichever activity – have student read over the
words to you she wrote
