PURPOSE – Why am I teaching this lesson? What do I want the students to know/to be able to do by the end of the
lesson that they could not do before?

 Recognize memorize the animals name (Bear, bird, fish, frog, horse, dog, sheep and cat)
 Ask questions using the question form: what do you see?
 Answer questions with I see
 Listen and order the animals
 Use the new vocabulary in conversations (acting the story in group)

Listening and speaking


Listening: to listen and focus on the words and order the animals according to the instructions
Speaking: to focus and practice on using the language in conversations in group.
To practice that: using the flash cards and let one group to answer I can see and the rest askes what do
you see and so on with all groups
CONTEXT/ SUBJECT/FOCUS – How will I make the language realistic for the students?

The topic of the lesson is what do you see question, it will be focused and contained in all of the activities. To make t
more realistic:

Using photos and sensible objects

RESOURCES –– What resources do I need to create the context and provide practice so the students can do what they
need to do to develop? - Include realia, books, handouts, multimedia, songs, games, etc.

Flashcards and pictures of animals, sticks, thread, worksheet and markers,

ACTIVITIES – What activities can I design that use the resources and are appropriate in the context? Are my activities
authentic and purposeful?

Whole class activity: all the groups will ask what you see? accept one group will answer I can see, as a practice

Individual activity: listening activity, to listen and order the photos by using thread to memorize

Group activity: to speak with classmate and act the story

The lesson is authentic and purposeful, because it is goal to lead the pupils to learn the grammar, it have some
challenge because using sentences is new thing, encourage the students to be confident to use the language in
speaking.
