OBJECTIVE
 To design an Arduino RC Car equipped by bluetooth module and controlled
by smartphone.
 To create a program for Arduino RC Car that can shoot sharpened popsiticle
sticks to pop enemies balloons.

MATERIALS
 Arduino UNO
 Arduino.cc(Software)
 Connecting Wires
 HDMI Cable
 Motor Driver
 Car Kit
 Power Source (phone or power bank)
 Servo Motor
 Popsicle Sticks
 Rubber Band
 Balloons
 Smartphone

PROCEDURES
1. The first step of this project is to make the proper connections between the different
components.
2. Create a code that is necessary to show the desired outputs using the toy cars.
The code used for one of the Arduino toy car equipped with arbelest and bluetooth
module and controlled by smartphone is shown below.

INSERT CODE HERE

3. Upload the code to the Arduino and test to see if any problem exists.

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

Arbalest is used in ancient times as a defense mechanism for protecting kingdoms.

Arbalest is an ancient weapon which shoots arrow to kill or to hurt enemies. It has the
same mechanism as a crossbow. In this activity, arbalest is equipped on a toy car. The
toy car is then euipped by a bluetooth module so that the user can operate the toy car
and arbalest from a distance. A specialized application installed in a smartphone
becomes a tool that will make the smartphone become a controller of the toy car. The toy
cars equipped with arbalest is then placed on a field for a survival battle. Each toy car
has a balloon that every user must protect by controlling the toy car. The arbalest can be
used to pop the balloons and other toy cars are equipped with weapons that are capable
for close combat.

CONCLUSION
In this activity, the students make use of arbalest made up of rubber band and
popsicle sticks and bluetooth module. One of the problem that was encountered during
the activity is the functioning of the arbalest. On the first trials, the desired output was not
achieved but with the proper adjustments, the arbalest functions correctly. The other
problem is the the connection of the toy car via bluetooth. The toy cars are connected to
the bluetooth module but cannot be controlled by the smartphone. Woth some
corrections in the code uploaded to the arduino, the toy car can be controlled properly
by the smartphone. Woth being bluetooth being a woreless connection, one problem
that was encountered was the frequent disconnection during the operation. There was
also a specifIc range where you can connect the toy car with the smartphone. There
was also a delay on the control once the controller is far from the toy car being controlled.
