Japanese Influence

Based on my research, siomai is one of the foods that were influenced by the Japanese in
our town, Unisan. We have this so-called Ate Lulu's Siomai that is continuously patronized for
almost 15 years. This food is topped by some fried garlic with a soy-calamansi sauce. Also, it is
partnered to a sa-malamig or a pineapple juice. Everyone here in Unisan is patronizing this
homemade product because of its delicious taste and affordability. This product is sold through
the use of rolling carts owned by Mrs. Lulu Veran.

American Influence

Based on my research, Burger is one of the American influences in our town Unisan.
Because there is no particular product, place or event that was influenced by the Americans so I
chose this product because it is very much known in every place we go. It is made with a beef
patty put in bread. The Americans brought this food to introduce to the Filipinos the fast food
industry.
