1. Rights and responsibilities of young people

Parents should start the children early in giving them a reasonable amount of
responsibility. The young should be encouraged to do things by themselves
although their attempts may be inept.

a) Selection of wardrobe
Parents select clothes or articles of clothing for a young child because of
his lack of experience. As he grows older, he can be given more freedom
to make his own choice.

b) Smoking and drinking

Parents should explain to the child the bad effects of excessive drinking and
smoking.

c) Pets
Taking care of a pet is one way of developing kindness for animals and a sense of
responsibility in a young person.

d) Having one’s own room

Having one’s own room is an excellent means of developing self-expression.
