Sub:- Calculation of Pension for New entrants governed by Para 12(2) of Employees Pension Scheme 95-regarding, Sir, Para 12(2) of Employees Pension Scheme 1995 reads as follows: “In the case of a new entrant the amount of monthly superannuation pension or retiring pension, as the case may be, shall be computed in accordance with the following factors, namely: - Pensionable salary X Pensionable service = 70 Therefore, for members who have joined Employees Pension Scheme 95 on or after 16-11-95 no minimum Monthly Member Pension has been provided for in the scheme, and they are entitled only for the Monthly Member Pension calculated as per the above said formula, The minimum pension shall apply only to members of Employees Family Pension Scheme 1971. Anyone who have joined the EPS,1995 on or after 16-11-95 shall be governed under Para Yours festa, Ty (ML. MEENA) — Addl.
