Clarifications have been sought for fixation of pay on the revision of pay scales to the posts of SSA, Section Supervisors and EO/AAO vide letter dated 15.11.2007 and the arrears to be drawn on implementation of Sixth Central Pay Commi ‘The issue has been examined in consultation with the Audit wing and it has been decided that the pay arrears on implementation of the Sixth Central Pay Commission are to be drawn in reference to the basic pay drawn for the period 01.01.2006 to 31.08.2007 and not on the basis of pay fixation for the period 01.04.2004 upto 31.08.2007. The arrear for the period 01.09.2007 onwards shall be drawn on the basis of pay fixation made as per this office OM dated 15.11.2007.
