Sir, ‘AS you are aware, the pensioners are required to fumish a life certificate in November each year. The disbursing agencies are authorized to issue this certificate. A check point is activated in the CEPS and pension would be automatically stopped in respect of those pensioners who fail to submit the above certificate. Similarly in the case of widowiwidower, recipient of family pension, a certificate of non-remarriage is also required to be furnished alongwith the Life Certificate. it has come to the notice of Head office that even after submitting the required LC/NRMC by the pensioners, the pension is either not restored or restored late, which is unjustified and not acceptable. The pension has to be restored immediately after getting the above certificates from the pensioner without any delay whatsoever. To be more specific all the Life Certificate/Non-Remarriage Certificates re ceived from the disbursing agencies/pensioners upto 10" of the month in the office have to be necessarily entered into the CEPS software before generation of the BRS of that month ‘The Regional Provident Fund Commissioner(Pension) of the Region shall specially ensure this to avoid any grievances in this area, by suitably co- ordinating with the disbursing agencies.
