Lesson Procedures:
1. Start by projecting the instructions sheet on the board for students to see. Walk them through each individual
station to know what is expected of each.
2. Pass instruction sheet out to students and have students log into the Canvas course.
3. Show students how to navigate to the Milestone Review tab in the course and the different standards found
there. Click on “S8P1 – Matter” and show them how each station on their sheet has a corresponding icon in
Canvas.
4. Allow about a week (5 school days) for students to choose 4 stations to complete on their own.
5. As students complete a station have them show you their score so you can initial off on their progress.
6. Once students are done with their 4 stations and have received a signature they are required to take the review
quiz in Canvas.
7. Have students turn in their papers for a grade.

Materials: Assessments:
 Computers All students are required to take the quiz in Canvas over all
 Headphones things Matter. They have a total of 5 attempts available to
 Instruction sheets them and will only see the correct answers after their final
 Cup of CaCl2 (Calcium Chloride) attempt.
 Cup of NaHCO3 (Sodium Bicarbonate)
 Plastic bag
 Dropper
 Test tube of Phenol Red
 20mL water
 1 graduated cylinder
