Elementary Education Teacher

Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina 27526 954-732-4753 agandolfo14@gmail.com

To Whom it May Concern,

I am pleased to present my resume for consideration as an Elementary School Teacher for the Wake County Public School
System. As my resume shows, I have taught for 8 years within Public School Systems in Florida. During this time, I have held teaching
positions from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 5 in both general education and special education. I currently serve as the Exceptional
Student Education teacher in an inclusion class, where I have the opportunity to co-teach 48 students with 2 teachers.

Throughout my experience I have formed a philosophy that combines academic and social understanding to help students
become well-rounded individuals. By working cooperatively with staff, students and parents, I believe each student can learn to
his/her best ability through differentiated instruction.

I have a strength in using total participation strategies within my classroom in order to assure that all students are learning
and engaged during lessons. By using Kagan Structures, I am able to promote cooperation and communication within the classroom
to increase student participation and confidence within the classroom.

In my classroom, I make sure that behavior management is student centered. I use the Class Dojo app to create an
environment of positive feedback for personal development skills linked to district expectations. This tool also allows for powerful
parent communication. Both myself and students can take pictures and videos throughout the day to post for parent viewing. In
addition, I can send class reminders and personal messages to parents to keep in contact.

Whether it be through district curriculum websites or teacher made games and lessons, technology is a key component
within my classroom. We use the interactive whiteboard daily and students are also able to use Chromebooks to access student
applications at reading and math centers, participate in review games and save work to their personal google drive.

Throughout the year, my students collect and chart data on their personal goals and student achievement through data
binders. Families are invited into the classroom for student-led conferences, which allow for children to communicate with their
parents on their strengths and areas of focus.

Sincerely,

Alexandria Koban
