opening, the doors will close. The elevator will then move to another floor. When the doors
are fully open at that floor, the elevator will resume normal operation.

Seller will be responsible for any manufacturing fault in the elevators for 18 (Eighteen) Months from the
date of shipments and 12 (Twelve) months from the date of Commissioning of Elevators which is earlier .
Seller shall supply at its own cost and expenses all spares parts during such period. This warranty does not
cover any accident, thundering, flood, cyclone, high and low voltage fluctuation, earthquake and external
water in the shaft, misuse abuse or negligence. Giant Elevator & Engineering Ltd will ensure the smooth supply
of any changed parts at any point of time for the next 15 years on chargeable basis. Giant Elevator &

Engineering Ltd Shall provide all technical support for this elevator till existence. Consumable items like light,
battery & fan repairing and replacement is not included in free warranty.
We shall be providing free services for 12 months. Thereafter we shall enter into maintenance contract for
the equipment on mutually agreed terms and condition. We also guarantee for supply of spares as and when
required. We shall maintain all spares required for the equipment at our service centre in Dhaka.
Other Terms & Conditions:

Any Sea Port Germany Kohler Elevator
Any Sea Port South Korea for Nawootec Elevator
Ningbo Seaport, China for SWORD Elevator
1. Shipment and completion time :
1) “0“day from the date of contract signed with advance payment or L/C .
2) 70 days required for manufacturing time from the date of L/C opening and approved GAD whichever is later.
3) 30 days required for transition time after shipment from factory.
4) 10 days required from Chittagong port to site
5) 50 days required for installation , testing and commissioning for each life after the delivery of the materials at
site other than civil works time of customer.
2. Offer Validity:
The offer is valid up to 20.04.2018
3. Packing:
Standard export packing.
4. Inspection:
Manufacturer’s inspection shall be final. However buyer can inspect by their own cost .
Requirment For Installation & Commissioning of Elevator:
All the equipments will be installed and commissioned within 50 working days from the date of handing over
of the site complete in all respect. Detail of Civil & Electrical Work as essential for the execution of the contract
and forming Buyer’s obligation of this offer is as below:

 All preparatory Building work such as elevator shaft with enclosure, water proof Elevator Pit with
drain, Machine Room with necessary R.C.C. Slab, Separator Channels etc. as per factory Drawing.
 Machine Room Flooring including any reinforcement etc. necessary load bearing, Trap Door, Windows,
Doors provision of suitable Ventilation arrangement to maintain Machine Room temperature under 40
C.
 M.S. Rods, Wood projections, shuttering ply, loose wires to be removed from shaft and from machine
room. Unwanted open cut-outs to be closed.
 Front rough wall with inside plastering on all floors, whitewash in hoist way shaft and in m/c room.
 Finished floor level markings on all floors, close near to lift entrance wall by oil paint or by grouting tile
piece.
 Hoist way (Lift Shaft’s) lights and Clear working area near about 1 meter from entrance on all floors.
 Water protection on all floors in front of entrance.
 Machine room Staircase with railing.
 Windows & lockable Door, lights and 5 pin Sockets and a Fan for Machine room.
 400V Three Phase 50Hz A.C., Stable power supply in m/c room through proper main switch & ELCB
with earthing bus bar (with a Voltage stabilizer if require) and Electric wiring between the client’s main
meter board and clients main switch board in the Machine Room.
 220V Single Phase main switch for Car and hoistway lights with proper earthing.
 Mc room IPS Flooring after wire troughs in place.
 Sun shade/ water protection on m/c room doors and windows.
 Lockable store of minimum capacity of 50 sq. meters per lift near lift shaft or at Gr. Floor with lights
and 5 pin sockets.
 Access to Bldg. or store room for vehicles to unload materials.
 Smoke vent to be provided when travel height ins more than 25 meters.
 Client’s / Sales Engineer’s approval for layout drawing. Hoisting hook in the Machine Room for lifting
purpose above the trap door having a minimum capacity of 1 ton but as per actual requirement of
capacity of Elevator.
 Any necessary tanking lining or reinforcements in Elevator Pit for Buffers.
 Lightening point in the Elevator shaft opposite each landing, Machine Room and in the Pit.
 Slots for landing Push Button Boards and Indicators.
 Proper guarding and closed fencing of Elevators Shaft and all other openings.
 Provided wooden template like Bamboo, steel wire, rope as per installation engineer’s requirements.
 If the lift hoistway deviation is more than 25mm then buyer will be responsible to make the shaft as
per GEEL requirement.
