2. Pupils look and say out the name of food that they know (Textbook, page

3. Pupils spell out the name of the food.
4. Teacher selects few pupils and asks them Wh-Questions:
ACTIVITIES What is your favourite food?
What do you eat for breakfast?
5. Pupils answer orally.
6. Teacher introduces the sentence strips on how to ask and answer about
one’s favourite food and drinks.
7. In pairs, pupils take turns to ask and answer about their favourite food and
drinks- (Activity Book, page 9)

2. Teacher selects few pupils to list out the name of food that they had learnt.
3. Teacher introduces the food category and asks pupils to match the listed
food to its category.
ACTIVITIES Food category:
Meat and fish, Vegetables, Fruits, Desserts, Bread and cereals
4. Pupils read the name of food (Activity Book, page 13).
5. Teacher corrects them when necessary.
6. Pupils complete the table (Activity Book, page 13).
