The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is Influence of Jigsaw type
cooperatife method Against student learning outcomes In Grade VII Students MTs.Ma`arif
Jamiatul Islamyah Dasan Baru Lesson Year 2015/2016.

This research uses true experimental design experimental method with post-test
design of Control group by applying jigsaw method. The population of this study is all
students of class VII of academic year 2015/2016 in MTs.Ma`arif Jamiatul Islamyah Dasan
Baru which amounts to two classes While the sample in this study are two classes of the
entire population selected by cluster random sampling or random sample. One experimental
class with jigsaw type cooperatife method and one control class with conventional learning.
Data collection techniques for cognitive achievement by test method. Test the prerequisite
analysis using the test of normality and homogeneity. For normality test using chi-square and
for homogeneity test using F test. The hypothesis test of this research use t-test of two parties.

The result of the test for prerequisite analysis test is normality test that both samples
come from normally distributed population. For this homogeneity test the sample comes from
a homogeneous population where Ft <Ftabel is 1.90 <2.94. Based on the results of data
analysis on the hypothesis test obtained t count> ttable (4,524> 1.684) and the average value
obtained from the experimental class is 88 while in the control class 66.

So it can be concluded Ho rejected and Ha accepted. This means that there is


influence of jigsaw type cooperatife method on student learning outcomes on science subjects
with environmental pollution material.
