Textbook

 Data Structures and Problem


Solving Using Java, 4th
edition, Mark Allen Weiss,
Pearson Addison-Wesley,
2010.
 The slides cover most (though
not all) of the material in the
textbook.
 Yet, the slides may contain
some material that is not in
the textbook.

Grading

 Midterm (25%)
 Final exam (35%)
 Average of 4 best grades out of 5 homework
assignments (40%).
 Homework is due at 1 minute to midnight (11:59pm)
on the due date, submitted through Canvas.
 Submissions more than 6 hours late will be penalized
20%, no submissions will be accepted after the
solution has been published.
 All assignments must be individual, or else in groups of
two students at most (cost: 1 deducted point).
