Life Experience
• I am a competent, speaker of Italian and I speak conversational French
• I enjoy sport. I am an advanced skier and snowboarder. I am a member of my local gym. I am a keen trekker: glacier experience
(crampons, crevasses and wobbly legs). PADI qualified diver, wakeboarding & kite-boarding and running.
• I worked in ski resorts in the French Alps for two, full winter seasons
• I have held a full, clean, driving licence for 30 years (with substantial foreign driving experience).
• I have crossed the second highest mountain pass in the world, had tea at Europe’s highest mountain refuge, trekked across the Great
Indian Desert for three days on a camel, eaten boiled fish with Kenya’s rarest tribe, swam with dolphins, climbed three active volcanoes,
scaled Mt Kenya, camped out at 4800 metres, skied down Mt Blanc off piste, hand-glided from a granite peak in Rio de Janeiro, tickled the
belly of a cheetah till she purred, I once stroked a wild crocodile and I have survived being a relatively old dad for nearly three years!
