missing information they need to know. Class Wide Peer tutoring will give them
opportunities to get the information they missed.

Peer Assisted Learning Strategies- Having a peer help them with assignments
and information that they did not learn because they were absent. The students
will work together to improve accuracy, fluency, and comprehension.

focusing for long periods of time because they will have a list to refer to in order
to know what all they need to get accomplished for class that day.

emotions, and manage their thinking and behavior. By setting a goal, using time

bond in a fun engaging way.

pair off into partners where they will work together and share their answers with
one another. A pair will help the student feel less pressured and they will be able
to develop a one on one relationship with a classmate.
Behavior / Organization

writing a long paper they can rest their muscles and just speak into the talk to
text technology in order to compose their papers.

Guided Notes- assist the student because they may not be able to maintain a
good writing speed in order to get all the notes they need from the lesson. They
will have limited writing to do they won’t have to write word for word.

Fatigued Response Cards & Choral Responding- Instead of having the student fill out a
long exit slip or do a assessment with multiple questions which takes them more
time to complete, since they are fatigued you can check their understanding by
having them respond aloud orally or symbolically.
Arts and Illustration- can be helpful for the student with fatigue because art is a
stress-free way to slow down the learning process and still allow the student to
show their knowledge of information they are being taught.
