SMART Notebook lesson as a game to test the students’
knowledge on stage directions. After showing the students the
parts of the stage, the teacher will break up the students into
three teams. The two teams who are not competing will step
out of the room or off the stage while the first team is up. The
first team will be timed to see how long it takes to take the
SMART Board pen and move the correct stage direction to its
corresponding block on the SMART Board. Only when the
students have the stage directions in the correct space will the
teacher stop her timer. Each team will compete after the next
in the same manner. After all three teams have competed,
whichever team completed the activity in the fasted amount
of time wins.
