INTRODUCTION

Nowadays, the number of vehicles available in more and more. This amount
increases from year to year may be due to the growing automotive sector and the
advanced capabilities of Malaysians on the rise. Economic growth improved
indirectly enhance the ability of the people.

However, the increase in the number of vehicles resulted in the increasingly

busy road in Malaysia. This situation increases the risk of accident especially during
festive seasons. This can be seen clearly on the statistics of Ops Sikap shows the
accident rate increased during festive seasons.

In this work we describe the Ops Sikap carried out on Chinese New Year in
2008 and 2010. Although Ops attitude lasted only 14 days to 16 days, the rate of
fatal, the death rate and average daily mortality in very high. Data produced very
surprising.

This condition may occur due to various factors such as road factors, driver
factors, vehicle factors and others. This will be explained in advance to the next. The
graph based on the data of the Ops Sikap in 2008 and 2010 will appear in the
following pages along with information about it. The data can be seen in appendix
part.

Expected results of this study will be an example to us and the generations to

come.
The bar chart shows Ops Sikap Report during Chinese New Year in 2008 to

Conclusion

The graph shows the numbers of death between three years that are 2008, 2009,
2010. As we can see the number of vehicles available in Malaysia is more and
more. This amount increases from year to year may be due to the growing
automotive sector and the advanced capabilities of Malaysians on the rise.

For Chinese New Year 2008, in OPS SIKAP XVI recorded that 178 of fatal which is
the second highest as same as the number recorded in year 2010. The number of
death is the lowest compared to year 2009 and 2010 which is only 180 deaths. The
main cause of this data because in year 2008 the amount of vehicle in the road is
lower than 2009 and 2010 that can be ensure that the traffic will be more smoother.

The average of death per day during the sixteen days of the OPS SIKAP XVI is
thirteen point zero. This average is the lowest among year 2009 and 2010. OPS
SIKAP XVI occurred from 31/01/2008 to 14/2/2008. This is because the total amount
of fatal, death, and death per day are the lower among others.

In 2009, OPS SIKAP XIX recorded increasing in the rates of fatal, the rates of death
and the average of death per day compared to OPS SIKAP XVI in 2008. Rates of
fatal in 2009 is the highest among the three years whish is 198. The rates of death
also the highest which is 212 death while the average of death per day is fourteen
point one. This is because the factor of driver that want to reach to the place early so
that they drove their car fastly.
In 2010, OPS SIKAP XXI recorded decreasing in number of fatal, death and average
of death per day compared to OPS SIKAP XIX in 2008. The rates of fatal is 178
which is same as OPS SIKAP XVI in 2008. The rates of death is the second highest
which is 201 death while the average of death per day also the second highest
between the three year which is thirteen point four. The main cause of this is the
increases the amount of summon to the driver that driving fast,we can see here that
