Action Plan
School: Clarkdale Elementary
S The vision of Clarkdale Elementary School is “We
are an engaged community focused on teaching
and learning.” The mission of Clarkdale
Elementary School is to Challenge and Engage for
Success. This mission/ vision connects with my Making sure the arts integrations is continued throughout
goal of implementing arts integration because I the building as students are promoted to each grade.
want to increase my knowledge of innovative and
effective strategies that focus on teaching and
learning. I want to actively seek strategies to
increase rigor and engagement in the class. Also, I
desire for my students to have meaningful learning
experiences that broaden their horizon for the
future.

My Action

The changes that I would have to make in my current
practices are implementing the lessons that were presented
during the arts integration. Also, taking risks and
implementing lessons that are out of my comfort zone. As I
am implementing these lessons I want to make sure the
lesson correlate with levels three and four of Webb’s Depth
of Knowledge.
In order to implement my action plan I will need
ample time to plan and research effective lessons. I
would like for my entire team to be a part of the
arts integration academy. This will give us a
chance to plan lessons and share effective lesson
that will result in student achievement. I would
also like to model the lessons that I have
implemented for teachers to be used for coaching
and professional development.
