1. Describe the Code Lavender experience you or your group will provide (be specific and include the date this will occur) and event should NOT exceed
5 minutes.
The Code Lavender experience that the group will provide is the use of massage therapy to reduce stress. This activity will occur on Wednesday, April 4th
at 8AM. The participants will massage the shoulders and hands of a friend sitting either left or right of him/her, and they will do this for 3-4 minutes.

2. What is the Evidence Based Practice rationale for providing this type of experience/modality? Please include citation within the past 5 years.
Some occupational stresses were high workloads, unsupportive management, patient mental health, etc. Even though massage therapy was a tertiary
prevention, it was favorable among the nurses. Happell et al. (2013) concluded that incorporating massage in the workplace reduced the symptoms of
stress, such as physical and psychological injuries.
