1. The student's academic preparedness to carry on advanced studies in his/her field.

Asja is an extremely conscientious student. She displays a level of commitment not often
seen in students her age. While in my class, her assignments were always submitted on time
and accomplished with outstanding results. Ms. Wright’s communication skills are exceptional.

2. Specific research and/or work experience that the student has accomplished which might predict
success in achieving an advanced degree in the field of interest.

I am unaware of any research she has been involved in, however while a student in my class,
Asja worked in a campus dorm as a resident assistant. This job requires an extensive amount
of responsibility, dependability, patience, tenacity, and the ability to deal with a wide variety
of personalities. These are vital skills and dispositions for anyone entering the field of
education!

3. Comments related to character, integrity and personality of the applicant that suggest that this
student will be expected to achieve a successful professional career in this field.

From my experience with Asja Wright, it is my opinion that she will be a superior addition and
asset to the teaching profession. She always exemplified the highest honesty, integrity, and
professionalism in class. She modeled genuine concern toward others, was always a team
player, and worked well with other class members.

4. (optional) Include any information you are aware of concerning obstacles that may have been
relevant to student access to educational opportunity (socio- or economic disadvantage, lack
of role model or mentor, 1st generation college)

N/A. I am unaware of any of the above obstacles.
