Testimony

The scent of salt-water permeates the air as the briny sea gently swells and rolls, breaking

onto the warm, sandy shore; the late-day sun begins its slow descent toward the horizon from

behind billowy clouds; all the while, three happy children merrily celebrate the twilight of this

carefree summer day. Together, as they savor the tang of sea-salt on their lips, they bid adieu to

their fun-filled day at the beach.

Meanwhile, as they frolicked happily in the sand with the sun setting behind them,

unbeknownst to them, horrific violence has erupted just a short distance away from where they

innocently play. A suicide bomber has hurt and mortally injured dozens of innocent people;

Israel is in turmoil once again. The carefree jubilance that radiates from the faces of Munir, Abir,

and their sister, Sullman, will soon be replaced with uncertainty, fear and sorrow, their fleeting

innocence soon to be tainted, forever, by this evil act.
