The Motor Drive MD-90 can be set for
single-frame advance at "S" setting, con-
t i n u o u s f i l m a d v a n c ea t " H " , " M " , o r " L "
setting, or for focus-priority shutter release
at "F.P." setting. Explanations of each

For continuous film advance, rotate

5fps, use of the Ni-Cd Battery Pack NP-90M
is required.

Use of Control Grip CG-1000
By mountinQ thd flash on the Control
Grip CG-1000 and using Ni-Cd batteries,
flash recycling time can be reduced for
s h o o t i n ga t 5 f r a m e s p e r s e c o n d .
Set flash unit to its lowestpower setting,
that is, "MD" (motor drive) setting on the
40004F, "Lo" setting on the 28004F.
Set motor drive to "H" setting to synchro-
n i z e f i l m a d v a n c ea n d f l a s h r e c y c l i n g .
NOTE
. Be sure to us'e fulff charged Ni-Cd bat-
teries in f lash unit and Control Grip to
o b t a i n s h o r t e s tr e c y c l i n gt i m e s .
o Before releasing shutter, check that
s u b j e c t i s w i t h i n f l a s h r a n g ef o r p o w e r l e v e l
selected. lf not, use a larger aperture or
move closer to the subject.
