ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengetahuan status kehalalan menu daging ayam
yang dijual di rumah makan dalam wilayah Kota Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam
bentuk survey lapangan. Selanjutnya mewawancarai produsen atau pemilik rumah makan
yang terpilih dengan menggunakan kuisioner terstuktur 14 responden diwilayah Kota Banda
Aceh. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pengetahuan pemilik Rumah makan
terhadap status kehalalan menu daging ayam yang dijual tergolong baik. Kemudian Sikap
produsen atau pemilik Rumah makan menu daging ayam yang dijual dalam wilayah Kota
Banda Aceh sudah menunjukkan kehalalan. Namun Tindakan keadaan Rumah makan menu
daging ayam yang dijual dalam wilayah Kota Banda Aceh yang tergolong cukup baik.

Survey of Halal Status of Food Processing Using Chicken Meat in Restaurants in

Banda Aceh

ABSTRAK

This study was aimed to measure the knowledge, attitude and practice of halal status of food
processing using chicken meat in several reastaurants in Banda Aceh. The research was
conducted using survey approach. The information were gathered using structured
questionnaire. The respondents for this survey were the owner or worker of targeted
restaurants. A number of 14 respondents were interviewed in this study. The data obtained
were analysed descriptively. The results of this research showed that the knowledge and
attitude of respondent on halal were categorised good. On the other hand, their practice were
categorised very good.
