Our Vision : To provide high quality education to rural children in a disciplined, stimulating and
healthy environment where the individual is able to realise his fullest potential and contribute to
his family, the society and the world at large.

Our Focus : The student . We believe that the performance of an individual in life is dependent
upon his learning in school, domestic and social environment. In order to bring out the intellectual
potential of a child, the school environment has the important role to play.
Pupils in rural areas do not have access to Urban like modern methods of teaching and to latest
knowledge. Many parents even lack basic literacy. They find difficult to guide their child in his/her
home work - leading the child getting overloaded with unfinished school homework and become
averse to studying. These children are always less dynamical than the city school children where
balanced and quality education is provided. These children are marginalised to that extent. We
enter the life of the child as a fcailitator to fill this gap.
Our focus is to make the learning interesting and painless. The
child shall take his first step in education effortlessly as a play
and not as an effort. We wish to intervene in the learning
process so that the child's full potential is realised. For this to
happen in a rural society, audiovisual methods of teaching will
play a large part. We plan to make our efforts in providing the
necessary modern tools to make the child's learning easier.

The school will be affordable to the rural economy. The children

who spend first 5 years of their time in school shall be able to
converse in English & Hindi, in addition to Marathi. An off shoot of this strategy is that the rural
society feels the importance of education to get modern economical benefits.

Method of teaching : The emphasis at Ram Krishna Academy is to use modern tools in teaching
methods. Children will learn subjects as a fun-filled activity. There is only little memory based and
teacher-centered learning. It is a totally creative and learner-centered education model, capable
of addressing the individual needs of the child. The audiovisual aids make the learning process
effortless and interesting to the child to understand the subject.

The idea is to nurture the children into students who are capable of
competing with their urban counterparts in all respects with clear
understanding on various issues, with equal analytical ability and with
best ethics and culture conducive to our society. The students from this
school after finsihing their education will be able to express their ideas
fluently in English, Hindi and Marathi, both by verbally and in writing.

The plan is to provide computer based education to all students, starting

from primary classes. The class teaching will be supplemented by video
shows and software driven learning systems. Videos from highly acclaimed institutions like
National Geographic, Discovery etc will be shown to children to enhance their general
understanding & knowledge.

Child's Health : We believe that a healthy body is essential prerequisite to a healthy mind. Child's
health and well being are given equal emphasis in the school as like that of studies. The villages
around are lacking good medical facilities. Periodic medical check up from dedicated doctors and
experienced in rural area will be conducted on each child. Besides health check up by physicians,
examination by eminent optholmologists, dentists etc. also will help in identifying possible
ailments in our rural students.

Child's overall Development : There will be considerable emphasis on extra-curricular activities

in the school. As we progress, we plan to introduce competitions
in the form of recitation, elocution, debates, etc in the school.
Also drama, dance and other cultural activities will be given
emphasis. The child will be encouraged to take part in these
activities, with a view to make him a wholesome individual.

Sports activities will also be necessary and find extensive

coverage. There will be dedicated sports teachers as the number
of students grow and it is proposed to have NCC or Boy Scouts programme in the school. Emphasis
will be given for intra school activities, both in cultural and in sports so as to benchmark the school
with those urban background.

About Vidyadhiraj Charitable Trust : Vidyadhiraj Charitable Trust (R), an NGO, has been set up
to serve Humanity by undertaking various uman Welfare Activities for the benefit of the society as
a whole, through three separate Foundations as its Units, with distinct objectives:
SEVASHRAM RELIEF FOUNDATION: To carry out human relief activities to provide economic
and psychological support to the needy and to improve their quality of life. The Foundation has set
up Shantikunj Sevashram (mainly a Centre for Dignified living, especially for senior citizens, a
place to live with Dignity) - with Old Age Home, Vanaprastha Centre and Training Centres to
provide shelter and succor to the aged, to enable them to settle in life and lead a meaningful
existence with dignity and self-respect. Every effort has been made here to uphold the cultural
heritage and ethical values of our society and of the residents of the complex. We strive to create a
congenial environment to facilitate a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle. The tranquil and serene
surroundings are ideal for spiritual pursuits and to seek peace of mind and ultimate bliss.

JEEVOTTAM MEDICAL FOUNDATION: To establish comprehensive health care centres-cum-

hospitals to provide, in a holistic manner, health counseling, medical advice, medical treatment
and nursing care through appropriate outdoor/indoor facilities and out-reach services. A fully
fledged hospital (measuring 24,000 sq.ft. constructions) accordingly has been set up at the site
providing needful medical services to the people in and around the nearby villages.

SARASWATHI EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION: To undertake activities for the spread &

advancement of spiritual as well as general - vocational and technical education in all branches and
faculties. Having started English Medium Nursery and Pre-primary classes four years ago, now we
propose to start primary and secondary school in English Medium.

The Trust is duly registered and is a non-commercial, not-for-profit and charitable organization. A
Board of Trustees manages
the affairs of the Trust and the
Trust has a Board of Advisors
comprising eminent persons.
As mentioned earlier, our
Project is a unique one, so as
to have had its foundation
stone laid by all the four
revered Swamijis, the
Spiritual Heads and
Paramacharyas of the Holy
Seat of Saraswats with many
centuries old tradition &
revered pontifical lineage.

The project site is one of the

loveliest spots - serene and
tranquil, with the backdrop of
Sahyadri hills and a river
nearby. It is just about one hour's drive from buzzing Central Mumbai. It comprises about 15 acres
of land in a village - Harigram and is less than 5kms. from Panvel Railway Station/Main City ST Bus
Stand.

"Project Participation Scheme Coupons @ Rs. 1,000/- per sft. of the Project.
Donors may also execute a 'WILL' to make V.C.Trust the beneficiary of their residual wealth, partly
or fully, on their demise. V.C. trust will utilise the legacy towards the earmarked purpose, offering
suitable tribute to the donor (posthumously) for the posterity to remember.
