QUIZ BEE RULES & REGULATIONS

A. ROUNDS PROPER

1. There will 3 rounds of different difficulties - Squire, Knight, Paladin

2. Each round shall consist of 8 questions each.

3. Each round shall have the following point allocations for each question:

* Squire - 1 point each

* Knight - 3 points each

* Paladin - 5 points each

4. A question's time limit shall depend on its difficulty level.

* Squire - 10 seconds

* Knight - 20 seconds

* Paladin - 60 seconds.

5. Round off your final answers to 2 decimal places. For probability questions, final answer is in
fraction form.

6. If necessary, indicate the appropriate unit.

7. Enclosed your final answers.

8. If two or more teams have the same number of points after the game, a tie-breaking
question shall be given. For the tie- breaking round, whoever answers first the question
correctly shall be declared the winner.

B. JUDGES &/OR PROCTOR

1. There shall be one proctor or quiz bee facilitator.

2. The proctor shall read the question loudly for only 2 times. THERE SHALL BE NO REPETITION
OF THE READING OF QUESTIONS.
