And sort words based on the final long e sound spelling pattern. And also write at least one sentence
including words with the final long e sound.

The students will spell and write the vowel for each word to fill in the blank.

Each student will write at least two sentences using the words that contain final long e sound.
The teacher will ask the students to read and share their sentences.

My teaching: I stated the behavior for each activity and I modeled it on the white board so everyone could see.

Some students at the end of the lesson were coming to me to show me their work and it was distracting other
students to complete their work.
