• Supported construction and operation of systems aboard the VIRGINIA Class Submarine
• Used root-cause analysis to come up with permanent solutions to shipboard problems
• Dispositioned manufacturing issues using hand calculations and supporting rationale
• Wrote letters and engineering reports to the U.S. Navy requesting project funding and reporting shipboard issues
MIT Lincoln Labs - Systems Engineering Co-op Lexington, MA, January-August 2016
• Modeled fluid flows and injections using ANSYS Fluent CFD
• Designed and built a novel droplet heat exchanger using CFD analysis and rapid prototyping (patent pending)
• Used variety of 3D printers (Dimension, Stratasys Connex 350, Makerbots) to build usable components
• Effectively presented work to other engineers and patent office employees
• Characterized environmental acoustic responses using Actran in the frequency and time domain
• Recovered simulated audio inputs and analyzed the impact of changing boundary conditions
